Car cuts off after riding in the hot weather.

I have a 1995 Chevy Beretta and it has the 3.1 in it. I can drive the vehicle when its cool outside all I want but once it gets about 70-80 degrees outside I have the worse car ever. The fuel pump will start making a whining noise (which I already changed thinking that was the issue) then about 15 minutes of riding the car will just DIE out and we have to sit on the side of the road and just let it cool down so that we can start it again and be able to ride about a mile or so before it does it again...... any help is much needed right now. Thanks.

Suspect either cam or crank sensor. Check engine light on?

the check engine light doesn't come on at all until the car cuts off ):

DIS can be affected by heat see diagram. When it dies check for spark at plugs

well...... what else could it be? We took it and got it tested three times and that was not it... It passed...

Then proble is in fuel sprak CARB cleaner into throttle body crank if it lights then no fuel. Theft Light on?

I haven't got to do that yet but the fuel pump whines bad right before the car cuts off..... we are about ready to crush it.....

we have a 96 beretta it over heats also found out need to opean coolant valve to release some of steam and air that gets trapped.also we learned this from an older guy he slapped the gas tank one time and pump stopped whining(old trick)i donot care what anyone says these cars may have some issues but our always got us home before she wouldn't start then next day we on road.
