How do you replace the water pump belt on a 1995 Cadillac Concour?

The original water pump belt that was on the car shredded off and the car was running hot.We are needing to know how to put the new one on.

which motor, 4.6 or 4.9.

the fact that it shredded means there is an issue with something locking up. did you have it checked yet?? I would not replace it till I was sure there is no other issue
