I have an e34 bmw and i want to lower it a few inches. is all i need to do just buy different springs?

My bmw has new factory sport struts in it and i want to lower it. i havent tried anything yet but because i dont know how. Is all I need to do buy different springs for the struts?

Why don't you try searching for a drop kit assembly or check an auto custom shop and seek advise
