my brake lights are not working or my dash lights what could be wrong?

For the brake lites, check the feed to and from the brake switch. In the diagram, the top wire is voltage to the switch, that circuit is fuse protected. When the switch is activated, the lower wire becomes hot and carries voltage to brake lamps.
