94 toyota 4runner

i have a 94 toyota 4runner, when i select the 4x4 it will not engage, the switch blinks and then shuts off.

i figured out what was wrong, first of all the lever inside cab that switches to 4x4, is a direct rod to transfercase, and then to a vacuum switch that sends vacuum to front acuator thats vacuum operated, well i pulled off actuator and the vacuum diaphram seems to be fine, i reinstall it and rehook up vacuum lines... witch i found out they were switched around. cause it not to lock in..
