Is the 3rd (high mount) brake light working?

no the high mount light does not work

Make sure about that because it matters. If none of the lights are working, then you have to go back to the brake light switch and test for power coming in all the time and going back out when the brake is applied.

Hi, could anyone possibly help to guide me in finding out what's going on with my brake lights and tail lights on my 1999 Subaru legacy wagon 2.2l. I hadn't had any issues up until I had gotten my wheel bearings replaced and the front driver n passenger side wheel assembly as well as replaced the exhaust muffler assembly, but didn't replace the catalytic converter and front assembly. Could this be the reasoning for the issues with the lights or just coincidence that it happened nearly right afterwards? any information is greatly appreciated. thanks
