I am looking at purchasing a 1994 Pontiac sunbird. The car is in good shape and will have some rust work fixed up before I buy it. The car is apparently a one-owner car, and the previous owner sold it because the head gasket blew. The garage where I am looking at buying it is going to fix this. My question is I have been told it is not advisable to buy a car that has had the head gasket blown. That it can cause a lot of damage to the motor. I am hoping to hear from you ASAP. Thank you.
