Is this drum or disc brakes?
If disc, is parking brake incorporated into caliper or drum within disc?
Whichever system, ensure the rear shoes are correctly adjusted first (if equipped).

If parking brake is incorporated into caliper, ensure the parking brake cable can return fully as it is automatically adjusted and if the cable is not adjusted correctly, the lever would get higher and higher as pads wear out.

For adjusting lever travel, you would need to locate the adjuster which I could not find any information of the location in our database. It most probably is under vehicle.
