The pickup is an automatic. I can drive forward but when I put it in reverse it just reves up and goes nowhere.

With 215,000 miles and 19 years old (1994 bought new ...one owner and always cared for)

What would my approximate cost be to replace and is that wise?. It is a great little truck and I have loved it and hate the idea of buying another...all that paperwork...But know I must be practical...
