Good Morning,
I have a 94 Mercury sable with the 3.8 liter 6 cylinderand having alittle bit of transmission trouble with this vehicle. Car was shifting hard and speedo was acting up, so I replaced the speed sensor swith and now the speedometer works fine and transmission shifts fine like a brand new one, but, the only problem were having is when were slowing down to a red stop light and moving 5 miles and upward and light turns green the trans has shifted down to proper gear like normal and give it the gas were fine, but if we slow down to slower than 5 miles per hour and give it the gas, there's no engine breaking till we come to a complete stop and then proceed as normal, other than that transmission is perfect.we been able to get around this simple problem, but I feel it should be fixed for the safety of occupants in vehicle preventing rearend collison. Need your advice and suggestions.
