what is the best way to remove the oil pan on a 1994 isuzu trooper?

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove dipstick. Raise and support vehicle by frame. Drain engine oil. Remove front wheels. Remove front skid plate stone guard and lower radiator fan shroud. Remove bolts from suspension crossmember (2 bolts per side). Remove crossmember. Remove flywheel dust cover.

Place reference marks on pitman arm and steering gear shaft. Remove pitman arm from steering gear. Remove 4 mounting bolts and remove idler arm. On 4WD, support front axle on suitable jack. Remove bolts from front axle-housing insolators on both sides. Lower front axle. On all models, make sure engine oil has been drained. Remove oil pan bolts, oil pan and gasket.
