Have a 1994 Infiniti J30t, revolution sensor has been checked and is fine. What else could be the problem?
Was told the revolution sensor was bad found out later it was not. There is an inhibitor switch located below the automatic floor shifter do not know for sure if the revolution sensor work's in conjunction with the inhibitor switch, but just recently the car would not shift to gear when depressing the button on shifter.
So even when releasing the E brake it would just simply lock the shifter when it should release got it to finially release but can not remove the key from ingnition.
Still will not shift from 2nd gear to 3rd gear.
