Headlights and taillights issue

Please help! When i turn my headlights on (not day lights) the rear tail lights turn off and when I switch them to day lights the tail lights turn on. The brake lights and turn signals work wonderfully and I triple checked the fuses and they are good. so i do not know what the problem is! Help!

Hello,

It sounds like you have a headlight switch that is out, but to be sure lets check the switch to confirm before you replace it.

Check for power through the switch.

Check out the headlight switch wiring diagrams (below).
