keeps blowing the fuse

I own 1994 z71 GMC it keeps blowing the fuse and does not engage 4 wheel drive what do i look for to so if my problem. i have replaced the harness.

Check the wiring for opens and shorts. Look for missing insulation, bad connectors, broken pieces/covers, etc.
