1994 Geo Prizm Brake problem

The pedal goes to the floor. I have replaced the master cylinder twice in case the first one was bad. I replaced the block where all the lines meet. I have vacuum bled and gravity bled and bled with the brake pedal several times and cannot get the pedal to pump up. I get oil to squirt from every bleeder with no air, yet I cant seem to build pressure. There is no leak because the fluid level doesnt drop and I cant find a puddle or leak in the line. Very baffled please help. Oh also the car does not have ABS

Have you tried clamping off each brake line to each wheel one at a time to see if the pedal pumps up?

We have not tried that yet. My cylinders arent leaking though. But I will try this tomorrow night. I will get back with you with the results. Thanks

I have ran into calipers etc internally leaking pressure causing what your dealing with.

Vise grip the hose at the caliper/cylinder?

You can use needle nose vice grips with a rag between the the vise grips and the hose.Dont go crazy clamping them super tight.only do it to the rubber lines and make sure you inspect the lines after you clamp them for damage.

I capped the right rear with an inverted flare fitting and a plug in front of the hose, and still no pedal. I left this one plugged and plugged the left rear and viola pedal. I then uncapped the right rear and hooked it back up and still had pedal. i am now in the process of replacing my cylinders, shoes, hardware and hoses, and the line from the hose to the cylinder on both rears and the pads in the front. I also have a bleeder screw in the front right that had been broken off, so I might as well get it out and put in a new one. Thanks for your suggestions. Next project is to install carrier bearings in the rear end of my Suburban 1500 FWD. I may be back for that.
