I replaced a clutch plate, something I have done many times. I used jack stands and brut force to remove the transmission. After the work was done my clutch pedal would not pressurize. I thought that changing the master cyclinder would help, but it didn't. I bought a slave cyclinder and took the truck to a trusted mechanic. He called me and said that the retainer clip on the hydraulic line was too badly damaged and he had to cut the line to remove the transmission. I sent him a new line via the internet and now the entire hhydraulic system has been replaced and it still will not pressurize. I think the clutch plate is too thick and may be the cause.
