4 cyl std shift no a/c no 4wd
truck sitting for 6-7 yrs...getting it ready for son to drive. oil-pan drain plug not loosening normally. plug is a little bunged-up due to trying to remove. (I filed bungs off)
so-far...using 6-point 1/2 drive w/breaker-bar gives no help.
question: need suggestions on how to remove...more torque? air-gun? judicious application of heat? PB breaker?

use a chiesel and a hammer to loosen then replace it when you get it out.

try penetrating oil first then maybe some heat from a propane torch but not a lot if you heat with propane try taping around drain plug with a small hammer all around it. then try a 6 point socket it should come off. you can get anew plug when you get the old oneoff at a ford dealer don't use the ones that auto parts sell. also get the gasket as you'll need that as well.
