i have a 94 mustang v6 that someone let sit 10 years i have changed the oil in it and used the wrong kind of oil noticed pressure gage was saying high pressure so i drained it and used the right kind drove great for a day now its not getting all its power and gage goes to 0 if idle raises with rpms

if you hear clacking noises while idling then the pump may be bad but put a manual gauge on it to see what the pressure actually is. use 10w30 oil.

well running 5-25 now cant help matters i guess and no clicking noise that i can tell although i have a cracked converter on there so somtimes it seems like its clicking when not ill thicken up the oil before moving forward i guess

don't thicken the oil as it willclog the rings then you'll have old smoky it only takes 4 psi to turn the light on so as long as youhave pressure don't worry about it. also a lot of oil filters can cause this . I only use and recommend napa, Purolator, wix, bosch and ac.

Well I changed up the oil and now it's acting like it's loosing power I had recently had the fuel pump replaced before then it was kind of bogging down like now...can't be it again can it?

scan for codes and check fuelpresure with a gauge first. also check intake vacuum if 15" or below check for a clogged exhaust
