power steering fluid level going down

I have recently bought an s reg ka, my power steering fluid level has been going down due to a leak i have tried stop leak but it is still leaking and is now pretty much empty, will i need a new steering rack? and how much will this cost? can i still drive it on short journeys? will it damage the car further if i do?

You will need to contact your local mechanic for a quote as prices can vary depending on brand and your location, if the rack is leaking and the problem is not fixed, you run the chance of do serious damage to the power steering pump as well.
