My wife was returning home, and within a quarter block from the house (back street), she downshifted into 2nd gear and heard a pop sound. The clutch pedal was stuck forward against the wall of the floor board (please excuse my ignorance to exact part names). Though stuck forward, the clutch pedal will return back manually, not on its own. With the clutch pedal all the way forward, it will still shift all the way through all the gears though the clutch pedal is stuck to the wall. I just had (two months ago) a new top cover put on the transmission (w/ new clutch forks), a new clutch, new slave cylinder, and clutch pedal bushing. One other issue....the truck will not start now since this issue with the clutch pedal. There is fluid in the cylinder BTW, if this helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Please excuse my ignorance, but where is the clutch switch? Is this the switch that allows the vehicle to start when the clutch pedal is depressed? What would allow the clutch pedal to stick toward the firewall and can only be returned by manually returning it? Thanks in advance!

OK, I found the Clutch Pedal Ignition Switch and saw that the clutch pedal broke off the plastic piece of the clutch switch/clutch master cylinder. What too replace? The clutch switch and/or the clutch master cylinder?
