brake noise

i have a ford explorer with noise coming from the rear drum brakes i tried to replace the shoes and springs and bleed the brakes but there making noise while braking and while turning

they wont make noise.

it could be the drums hitting the backing plate while rotating.

do the brakes work ok??

Roy- yes they are working fine just making noise it sounds like grinding when applying brakes but squealing on graduall turns and very little noise but when backing up there might be an occasionally noise but none backing up

I would be re checking to ensure that all springs are fitted correctly, did you get the drums skimmed if not this may be a bedding in problem.
