On a 1994 Ford E350 Box truck with 7.3 liter diesel used Uhaul. On the under hood fuse box the TCM melted through the board. I have tried to find another board (we do not have a Ford dealer anywhere near). the local rural mechiancs just scratch their head. Its still driving , however after the trans gets heated up it will drop to drive and the light will flash on the inside gear knob, then go back to OD after you slow down. every once in a while it will drop down lowwer but it doesnt last long. I am also thinking this is the short that is draining my battery if not used in 2 days. One local diesel mechanic told me without even looking at the truck "you need a new transmission"
