5.8L engine
Dealer says I might have a problem with the "reed" (read)? valve, Part of the emissions system. I can't find a reference to this valve in my Haynes manual. Any idea what this valve does or what part of the emissions system it is in. This van came from California. Engine has been making strange whistling and other odd sounds. I haven't located any obvious vacuum leaks yet.
