I need to replace the windshield washer nozzels and need to remove the wiper arms to get access to the driver side nozzel. How do I remove the wiper arms on a 1994 crown Victoria?

Here is exerpt from the manual:

Raise the windshield wiper blade end of the windshield wiper pivot arm off of the windshield and move the slide latch away from the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft . This will unlock the windshield wiper pivot arm from the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft and hold the windshield wiper blade end of the windshield wiper pivot arm off of the glass at the same time. The windshield wiper pivot arm can now be pulled off of the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft without the aid of any tools. Picture attached.
