My battery has plenty of juice. When I turn the key only the cylonoid clicks. Do I need to replace the cylonoid?

hit the starter with a hammer. if it cranks now you need a new starter. or jump the two larger terminals on the solenoid. should crank for sure. if it does the the starter solenoid is bad.
