My truck is revving up and down while in park and then dieing.

It has also died while being driven. What's wrong? I put a bottle of Heat in the gas tank to evaporate any water in the tank and lines. I live in Alaska so the temps outside are between 20 and -6

Clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens-also check fuel pressure if its within specs-
