Truck knocks only when idling??

What can cause a 1994 chevy s10 automatic knock only when it's idling but not when you mash the gas??

could be a piston knocking.or maybe cam? or maybe your bearings are worn and oil pump is weak at idle? chevys never did have great oil pressure to begin with.

bad harmonic balancers are known to knock at idle also. and dont forget transmission flywheel knock from crack or loose bolt.
