This connection is rusted and is in need of repair. I am wondering if this is something I as a novice could do myself, of if a pro needs to do it? I do have basic pipe and welding skills, but on much smaller pipe than exhaust pipe

i recommend a shop that specializes in exhaust. it is more than you can handle since you have no experience.

Thank you, it looked easy to me, and I guess that is why you are the experts. If I did get brave, and decided to tackle it myself, what would I need to do?

replace both the before pipe and after. bolts and nuts get rusty and need special attention.
