1994 Chevrolet Lumina Driver side door problem

I have a 94 Chevy lumina euro. My drivers side door will not open from inside or outside. Both handles move freely. It also has power locks and I think the problem might be that it is stuck locked. In the past I have had problems with the lock on the same door. From time to time i would have to use the key to unlock the door while I pressed the unlock button

Yes, it sounds like you may be on the right track. You would have to remove the door panel to examine the components to determine what the issue may be.
