1994 Chevrolet Cheyenne overheating issue

replaced thermostat because truck was not warming up now truck overheats. the thermo. is correct and i have replaced twice thinking one may have been bad out of the box. i was told there could be an "air bubble" in coolant system. if so how to correct this ?????

get the truck pressure checked for an internal leak first. then have radiator cap tested at same time as that may be bad. then check radiator for cold spots if you have any then the rad is bad as it should be the same temp all over. Make sure engine is off an dnot running when doing this. You can use your hand to feel for cold spots. I am assuming the reason the tstat was changed was for overheating to begin with.
