I have a 1994 chevy caprice and every time i start my egine it runs for 30 sec then it shuts off. I'm trying to find out whats the problem.

Does it start back up, when you attempt to start after it shuts down? Recommend you check the fuel pressure to rule out a failing fuel pump-could also be the ignition switch-

It'll start back up but it won't stay on. I think it's the fuel pump as well buy not really sure.

Check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel pump and also the idle air control valve-

Try cleaning it with carb cleaner and see what happens
