The van was starting and running great but the battery is bad, I did jump start with a cable from my other car at dark evening, did mistake on the cable clump connection, on the astro van battery the red clamp was on (+) and the black was on (-), but on the other car the red clamp was on (-) and the black was on the (+) of battery. I saw smokes coming out of the astro engine while starting it and heard sound like fuse blowing from under the dash board, then realized my mistake and put the cable on the right way but didn't start, I did check the fuse box under the dashboard only the fuse # 16 for beak was gone all other fuses are ok, the brake fuse is keep blowing with the switch on, the starter working good but the engine doesn't start even i used the starting spray i the carburetor is same no any starting of engine, I hear the sound of fuel pump every time with the ignition turning on and off, what ca I do to restart the van, please help me.

Also, I would check for spark because I have seen the PCM go out after a backwards jump, here is a guide to help explain more, and we should run the codes as well to see if any are stored which can help guide us to the problem.

Here is the location of the PCM so you can have it checked out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
