recently my cadillac has started stalling when stopped and sometimes while driving,it also revs and the gas pedal pushes in a little when on brake and stopped like in a drive through..I pulled the codes and they came back as problems with a vacumm solenoid and vent solenoid, what are these parts and to your expertise does that sound like the correct fix?

Your car could have a vacuum leak which could cause these problems. Check the many vacuum lines under the hood.

As far as the code go, please post the code numbers here so that I can better research them and give you a more positive answer.

All of these codes indicate problems with your cruise control.

P061 = Cruise Control Vent Solenoid Problem
P062 = Cruise Control Vacuum Solenoid Problem
P065 = Cruise Control Servo Position Sensor Failure

Disconnect your cruise control (or remove its fuse). If your problems go away them you know that it is because of a faulty cruise control unit or that the unit is shorted to ground. There are many checks/test to determine the exact cause so once we determine that it is indeed the cruise control which is at fault, I can give more info to track down the problem.

I've disconnected the cruise from under the hood,it is still stalling and acting like it doesn't wanna accelerate with quick jerks when I push on the gas,and if I accelerate like pulling out of a gas station it will cut off and I'll have to pull over and put in park and it starts right back up

Did you check for vacuum leaks? A good place to start is with the vacuum lines going to the cruise control unit.
