More then likely it is something simple. Assuming the car is a manual transmission car, make sure that the hydraulic clutch line has been bled properly. If it is an automatic transmission, make sure that the shifter cables are properly installed. If it is a clutch cable, you will have to adjust the cable accordingly since you have installed a new clutch.
