Will not start

Hello,

This sounds to me like you either have a bad fuel pump relay or you have an open in the fuel pump circuit somewhere. Let's start with the fuel pump relay. I have included a link for you down below to go to.

Please go through the guide and then go to the specific testing and diagrms and component location information in the diagrams down below. Do the testing and get back to us with what you find out. We can go forward from there.

Thank you for replying. The relays are supplying power to the fuel pump. I know this because I can hear it humming in the fuel tank and If i loosen the hose that goes to the fuel rail it squirts a lot of gas out if there. It just stumps me that I cannot turn this van on. i feel like it is hexed.

I'm sorry, I misread your first question. If you spray brake cleaner around the throttle body it will start briefly. This sounds to me like you have an intake leak that is letting unmetered air into the system. Unmetered air is any air that enters the combustion chambers of your vehicle after the Mass Airflow Sensor. The Power-train Control Module(PCM) AKA, "computer" does not know about the air and doesn't compensate for it.
I would probably replace the throttle body gasket. I have included step by step instructions for you in the diagrams down below. Go through them and get back to us with what you find out.

So i found out the problem and fixed it awhile back ago. sorry for the late response. So the back story to this was that someone swapped out the motor on this van but it wouldn't start after. They called me to check it out and it was a weird problem and it wasn't going to get the best of me. Anyways after hours of working on it and breaking my head trying to figure out what was wrong with it, i decided to have a peek under the car and i noticed that the fuel hoses were kinked and would not allow the fuel to pass and get to the engine to feed it fuel. Talk about a rookie mistake....
