1993 Toyota 4Runner Car alarm

I have just changed the battery and have plenty of juice.
As soon as I opened the door, the car alarm went off
And I do not have thf keyless entry.
I tried the suggested turn key off and on 5 times and it did
Not work, stumped.
Can you help with any tricks?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it to see if that resets the alarm? Is this a factory alarm or something that was added?

Have disconnected the battery several times . Still alas with loud horn
and will not start.
As far as I know it is the factory alarm.

Help!!!!!!

I hate to say it, but you are going to have to see a dealer if it won't reset on its own.

Thanks for your help. I found the previous owner and
the alarm system was after market and he remembered
the reset switch and all is good.

I'm glad you got it figured out. I had a feeling it was an aftermarket system. There are so many different brands, it is hard to keep up with them all. Regardless, take care and let us know if you have questions in the future.
