It could be due to a failing alternator, bad ground circuir connections and other electrical faults.

I would start by getting the alternator tested.

Never do that. Disconnecting the battery terminals are for vehicles of yesteryears. If the alternator is bad, disconnecting the terminals can results in voltage surges which can fry the engine computer.

Alright so I took the car up to pep boys they told me it was just the alternator belt so I replace that but last night my car died. We tried to jump it but even with the cables connected the break and battery lights were coming on, the timing belt stopped spinning, and my car stalled out. Any new ideas?

What do you mean by the timing belt stopped spinning? If you had removed the upper cover to check the timing belt, then you have a failed timing belt.

If it is the alternator belt that has stopped spinning, you could have a seized bearing somewhere along the belt drive line or a bad harmonic damper.
