93 saturn problem

hi i have a 93 saturn sc1 4 cyl and what happened was it just quit and i turns over veryu fast. took the valve cover off to see if it was timing chain but it is still there. head gasket?? thanks

So the cam is turning?Sometimes when those engine's get flooded they sound like they turn over really fast.Have you performed a compression test yet?You can rent a compression tester at auto zone for free all you have to do is leave a deposit for the tool that you get back when you return the tool.
