1993 Pontiac Transport engine makes rough noise

this vehicle was parked for 3 years, then I decided to fix the coil pack the van started, but after I drove it from the mechanic sop it started to make a loud rough nocking noise. I am afraid it may be the timing belt or worst.

I think these on ly came with a3.1LV6 which doesn't have a belt it's a chain. if anything it may be a rod knock have the oil pressure checked manually that should tell you or pull one plug wire at a time to locate which cylinder it is, it will stop knocking if it 's a deep knock. that will locate the cylinder.
