A few weeks ago the A/C did not turn on. I turned car off and restarted and it came on. Today THe A/C came on and went off. The temperature flashes for a few minutes after car starts. Fan blows Snowflake does not light up in climate control. Fans good, gas good in compressor, Where is A/C relays? How to check if compressor went out?

this sounds like auto temp control where you set the temperature. see pics on how to test and codes what they mean

Got a 66 code. Added 134A Clutch on compressor never kicked in. Still no snowflake. Relays found and tested and fuses checked including a/c programmer fuse. They are all good.. Husband thinks clutch is out on compressor. Easier to replace compressor than clutch by itself! Any way to check clutch and/or compressor? How to clear code on A/C?

code 66 is low refrigerant it probably has a leak and needs to be leak checked. That system never used R134a because it wasn't around then so unless it has been properly changed over to that then you may have damaged the system you need to find the leak first.

It had been converted. Had new compressor and lines installed in 2003 for 134A by previous(original) owner. All work records was with car including the window sticker from when car was bought new in 1992
