My roof liner and insulation is 'falling'. I live in South Georgia and can not find anyone that does repair/replacement work. I have tried 'Duct Tape' as a temporary fix, but the South Georgia sun in getting the best of it (and me)

3M makes an adhesive for headliner repair. I found a site that sells it, but I'm sure you could get it cheaper at a parts store near you.

Hi Joe,

I have a can of adhesive, but the fabric is to 'aged' to work with. Do you have any idea WHO, in South Georgia, does repair/replacement work? have tried to find someone, but have not been find anyone.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated..

I'm sorry but we don't have any list of shops. As far as your problem, is it that there is a dried out coating on the fabric that comes apart when you try to glue it?

Yes - it is old and 'dried out', but it is my deceased mother's car and I love it. Other than the headliner, the car is 'clean'.

The only thing I can tell you is to completely remove the liner, clean off the dried out stuff that is on the head liner itself and using the adhesive, reglue it in place. If you clean things up (the stuff that is dried out), it will stick. I have done it before using the 3M product I mentioned.

Thanks guys - I appreciate your help. I think I will keep it 'propped up' until I can get it professionally 're-installed'.
