My Hyundai Coupe 1993 keeps faltering when I accelerate. I found out the 4th fuel injector is not firing any fuel. I swapped the 4th injector with good one, still it won't fire. What could be the problem? Could it be the PCM driver circuit or maybe? If so, is there a way to fix it? Thank you and have a great to all.

You need to check for power to the injector with the key in the run position engine off.Let me know what you find. Also do you have a led test light?

Hello, thank you for your reply. I'm sorry I only know a little about electronics, how do I check for power to the injector? What wires do I have to connect? Do I have to remove the 4th injector? I don't have a test light available here.

Pardon me for my limited knowledge about automotive. I hope you understand. Thank you

By the way, been trying to donate but it says it's no longer available.

Hi, sorry for the late reply because I've been searching the entire auto store here in my area but unfortunately they don't have any test light. However I was able to check the injectors firing, I removed the fuel that holds the injector then crank the car.

I was told that maybe the ECU timing for the 4th injector might need to be reset. If this is so, is there any in my capability to manually reset it?

Thank you so much for you help.
