I am trying to find out if an H22 V-Tech engine will fit a 93 honda prelude, if not which engines can I use to replace it

Yes it would. There are stock models with that engine. If your vehicle is not equipped with VTEC, the wireharness needs to be replaced or some wires added for the VTEC system. The ECU/PCM would also have to be replaced.
