1993 GMC Sierra Clutch problem

I was driving up a large hill and went to shift down and had no clutch, it was completely loose, managed to get it back into 4th gear, once I got to the bottom of the hill and back into town I pulled over and the clutch was working fine again.. Any suggestions ?

hydraulic clutches have brake fluid and the fluid will get hot. when that happens, it will boil and the system is all air.


try changing the fluid and use dot 5 fluid.
