Hi,

Another question about the bus. I appreciate your patience with me.

There is a hazard switch on the steering column that works intermittently. Normally, when I press the button in it might flash once and then stop. If I hold it in hard, it will generally flash, but I don't think that will pass inspection. I would prefer NOT to disassemble the steering column, so I'm open to suggestion and if replacement is needed, which part likely needs to be replaced?

kinda sounds like you have a bad hazard switch and it needs to be replaced. but check your flasher as well it may be that

By "flasher" do you mean aluminum cylinder that operates the turn signals? The turn signals work fine.

Is replacing the switch a big deal?

you need a special tool for steering wheel and to get to turn signal we no longer have that info available. there may be two flashers, one for t/s and another for hazards.

I think that it's the switch and not the flasher, otherwise holding the button in wouldn't make a difference. Do you have a link to the tool that's needed to get into the steering column? A reference on how to do the replacement would be awesome as well.

Thanks again!
