why cant i get my 93 jimmy to go into 4hi it will go into 4lo

have your encoder motor on teh t case and axles checked. the t case one is $100

thanks i will i tried listning to see if i could hear it go in i hear it go in to lo but it sounds like it goes only half way and stops
