Why does my 93 geo tracker blow white smoke from exhaust only when i rev it up and has a bad exhause smell and hesitates to crank when hot but cranks fine when cold

Head gasket is leaking coolant into the combustion chamber where it is being burned to create white smoke, and probably partially filling a cylinder when the engine is off. That causes hydro-lock and very hard cranking.
