1993 Geo Storm Exhaust Pipe

I've replaced my exhaust pipe three times in two years. It keeps breaking where it bolts into exhaust manifold, not the bolts , right at the weld below flange gasket. A buddy told me its a bad motor mount. If so what motor mount would cause it to continue to break pipe?
