driver window motor wont stop when its supposed to, have to hit switch a second time.

i hit the switch for driverside door window and the regulator motor wont stop going up or down. i need to hit the switch a second time for it to stop. is this something i could fix?

Sounds like the switch is staying on sounds like you need a new switch.Does it only do the running on when its fully up or fully down?Or when the window is half way up etc and releasing the switch?
