1993 Ford E-Series Van rear heater coolant leak

Their is a coolant leak in the hose to the rear heater. Is it expensive to repair? And I think their may be transmission fluid mixed in it as well. The color is a solenoid brown but I can smell that it's coolant.

We don't get involved with costs here because there's way too many variables. We don't even know what's wrong or which parts need to be replaced. I just had a coolant leak on my '88 Grand Caravan that turned out be a rusted-off hose clamp to the rear heater. You could have a hose rotted through, a leaking rear heater core, or a corroded pipe.

If coolant is mixed with transmission fluid, the radiator is leaking internally and must be replaced. The transmission fluid must be flushed and replaced right away too. The transmission can usually be saved if the coolant is removed right away.
